§ 13.08.010. Responsibility of property owners or occupants upon city notice.

Whenever the owner or occupant of any block, lot or part of a lot within the city is required by order of the city council and notified by the director of public works to construct or repair any sidewalk in front of his or her premises, it shall be the duty of such owner or occupant to cause such improvement to be made in the manner and within the time provided by the order and notice. The notice provided for by this section shall be either written or printed, or partly written and partly printed, and shall specify the premises to be improved, the character of the improvements and the time within which the same are to be completed.
