§ 14.04.460. Fire hydrants—Use.

  • No water shall be used from fire hydrants except for the extinguishment of fires; provided, that water may be used therefrom by members of regularly constituted fire companies for the purpose of cleaning, washing or testing fire engines or other fire apparatus, and employees of the water/wastewater department for testing the water pressure in the water mains, or for testing the condition of the water utility or flushing sewers.
