Section 903.2.9 of the International Fire Code is amended by the addition of the following exception:
Exception: Self-storage facilities separated into fire areas not to exceed 2,000 square feet with 3-hour fire-resistance rated fire walls in accordance with IBC Table 706.4, with no openings.
