§ 2.16.010. Duty to act as mayor—Limitations.

  • Whenever any power is vested in the mayor, or the mayor is required to do any act or perform any executive function, in the mayor's absence it shall be the duty of the mayor pro tem to exercise such power and perform such act or executive function, as fully as if expressly named in the ordinances, unless it is therein otherwise expressly provided or such act would be in derogation of the act of incorporation.
