§ 2.28.020. Exemption from penalties while discharging duties.

The penal provisions of any section of this Code shall not be construed to apply against any sheriff, police chief, any constable, police officer, fire marshal or assistant fire marshal or other lawful officer of the peace when in the discharge of their legitimate duties.
