§ 2.58.020. Membership—Term of office.

  • A.

    The Longmont Housing and Human Services Advisory Board shall consist of nine members appointed by the city council for three year terms, representing, to the fullest possible extent, representatives of all ages of adults from the various social, economic, ethnic, and racial segments of the community, and shall serve as provided in article VII of the city Charter. The board shall annually elect officers promptly after the expiration of regular terms and the appointment of new board members.

    B.

    Upon the death, resignation or disqualification of any member, the council shall appoint a successor to serve for the unexpired portion of the term.

    C.

    In order to enhance community input and/or provide additional technical assistance, the council may appoint nonvoting members to the board for such terms as the council deems advisable.
