§ 3.04.800. Family and medical leave—Amount.

    Any employee eligible to take the basic or military family leave for qualifying exigencies is entitled to 12 weeks of leave in a 12-month period.

    2.

    Any employee eligible to take basic or military family leave to care for a covered servicemember who has had a serious injury or illness incurred in the line of duty is entitled to 26 weeks in a 12-month period.

    3.

    Basic and military family leave periods are measured forward from the date an employee's first basic or military family leave begins. As part of the basic or military family leave, intermittent leave or a reduced schedule also may be approved where needed for a serious health condition or qualifying exigencies.
