§ 13.04.180. Public works/water utilities director decision—Time limits—Extensions.

  • Within five working days of the filing of any application, the public works/water utilities director shall approve or disapprove the same, stating the reasons, if disapproved, in writing. The time required for approval or disapproval of the permit may be extended by the public works/water utilities director if, in the public works/water utilities director's judgment, it is necessary to allow the checking of plans, sketches and specifications submitted, or if additional information or material is required. Such an extension of time for approval or disapproval shall not exceed 20 working days from the date of the filing of the required plans, sketches and specifications.
