§ 14.04.390. Steam boilers—Direct connection to pressure lines prohibited—Supply tank required—Supply responsibility of city.

  • Plumbers or any other persons are prohibited from connecting pipes whereby a steam boiler may be supplied with water direct with city pressure. All such boilers must be provided with a tank or other receptacle of sufficient capacity to hold at least six hours' supply, in case of a pipe district being shut off for repairs or making connections or extensions. In such cases, the city will not be responsible for lack of water for steam boilers or for any other purpose.
