§ 16.32.280. Section 907.2.1 replaced—Group A.

Section 907.2.1 of the International Fire Code is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
907.2.1 Group A. A manual and automatic fire alarm system shall be installed in accordance with NFPA 72 in all Group A occupancies. Portions of Group E occupancies occupied for assembly purposes shall be provided with a fire alarm as required for the Group E occupancy.

Exceptions:

1.

Where the building is equipped throughout with an automatic sprinkler system and the alarm notification appliances will activate upon sprinkler water flow.

2.

Fire area is 750 square feet or less.
